Sonya Visor

Heart to Heart

Sonya VisorTo My Dear Husband, you are wonderful.  You support me with your prayers and your presence in my writing career.  You are truly a "support team".  You treat me like a Queen.  I am so thankful for you loving me and I can truly say that I am still "in love."  I call myself blessed to be your wife.

Tony Jr. and Jason, thank you for being son's who cause me to aim higher.  Your words of encouragement, critique and support are always right on time. Well, most of the time.  Be all that you are supposed to be.

I thank God for my mom and dad, Henry and Lorine Brown.  You are truly the BEST parents to your daughters.   My mother-in-law, Ms. Liz, thank you so much for your support and loving me.

NCC – Thanks for being faithful members and cheering for your Pastors.  Love ya

Shout out to my girls:
Gina and Cheryl thank you for being my book reviewers.  I thank God that you two are not only my sisters but my best friends.  I love you more than you could ever love me :)

LilyIn this process of getting to this point in my writing ministry I had to reach out to those who have walked this path before me.  I am truly thankful to God for his hand in all of this and it is my prayer that I will glorify God in all that I do.  There were many writers who have helped me along the way, but the following people embraced me or encouraged me to move forward in excellence. I must tip my hat to the following people:

Linda Hudson-Smith, www.lindahudsonsmith.com
Ms. Linda you were the first to support me with words of encouragement in responding to all my emails.  You were the first one who critiqued my first short story paragraph for a contest I was entering in.  You are a woman of God with a purpose and a voice that has brought me to every emotion with your writing.  I was glad to get the emails from you, then one day you called me and I couldn't talk because I was in tears :).  I couldn't believe that someone of your magnitude in the field would take time out for me, without me asking.  For this, I am forever grateful and indebted to you.

Kendra Norman-Bellamy, www.kendranormanbellamy.com
I fell in love with your writing so much that my husband and I got on a plane to Atlanta, so that I could attend the Writer Cocoon conference. This was indeed a turning point in my writing.  I left that conference with hope and determination to be a blessing in the writing field on my way to the best-sellers list!

Thank you for being Ms. Kendra.  Your writing has blessed and taught me. Your words of encouragement, patience and the huge opportunity for my short story, Love me for Who I am to be apart of The Midnight Clear anthology are overwhelming. Your faith shows through everything you do. Thank you for lifting me in this season of my life.

Valerie Coleman, www.penofthewriter.com
I am forever grateful to you wonderful lady!  You are an awesome woman of the God.  You stole my title of "keeping it real".  I have never met anyone quite like you.   What a powerhouse, let's see: Editor, writer, publishing company, engineer, passionate pens...(the list is endless).  Your wisdom, critique and encouragement have blessed me beyond measure.  I am so glad to know you.

Thank you for selecting my story to be apart of your anthology project.  You go down in history because you published my first "real" works in Blended FamiliesThe Check for $3.96.

Ms. Valerie, you are definitely taking your rightful place by force.  I've learned alot from you and I am so thankful that our paths have crossed.  I look forward to seeing your book on the best sellers list!  In your words "woo-hoo".

Tyora Moody, www.tywebbin.com
Ms. Tyora, what can I say?  You started this project with me in April and finally we are done!  Wow, what a process.  I'm sure that you've never had a client like me.  I want you to know that I appreciate the God given gift you have.  Thank you for remaining patient with my vision in waiting on logos, type etc. to allow my web pages to reflect me.  You are wonderful to work with.  God is increasing you right now!  When you say that you bring others visions to life, you stand by your slogan.  I appreciate you and I give a shout out to all that need help in getting a website!

LilySusan Harring

Ms. Susan, you are the best graphic designer for me!  You hear my vision, listen to me and produce something that my heart could not express.  You have gone above and beyond in your projects with me.  I appreciate you.  I'm sorry we had to typeset Who I've Become is NOT who I am again.  It's Valerie's and Wendy Beckman's (Editor)fault. :) they pushed me to make the book better.   Thank you for working with NCC (New Covenant Church) and Covenant House Press.  You are indeed a blessing!
